Tell me about tomorrow

This show è a journey through the female universe, spied through the bathroom lock. The theme is the friendship between two women. In the bathroom they converse, they settle down, they get ready. They discover the changes in their bodies, confess to each other, wash their bodies and souls. In this bath, the most humble objects question us, they become companions on stage. The face of the friend looks at us through the mirror so that the real, huddled and invisible reveals itself to us as those truths that can only be confided in secret.
«Where is the bathroom?

«Sometimes it appears at the bottom, when two women lock themselves in the bathroom. Through the journey of two friends' lives, Brie creates a stage poem about being
woman and the passing of time. The proposal is in step with current times. The female universe takes centre stage. The I establishes a bridge with the We; that which is public in connection with that which is private: also a distinctive feature of this director. A journey into ordinary lives that generates
dentification
and intense emotions. Nothing é out of the ordinary. Or everything is, because, as one of the two women assures us, the everyday is sacred. Something special happens with the objects in Brie's plays, who began her artistic life in poetry and never seems to separate it from the theatre. The text in itself is poetic. It possesses beauty, musicality and rhythm. (It creates a scenic poem about being a woman, the cycle of life and the passing of time, which moves the audience».

César Brie was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He arrived in Italy at the age of 18 with Comuna Baires, a theatre group of which he was a co-founder. He separated from the Comuna in 1975 and began to develop a stateless art, in close contact with the many realities he encountered in a life spent by choice in exile. In 1975 he created the Tupac Amaru Theatre Collective in Milan. From 1981 to 1990 he worked with Iben Nagel Rasmussen in the Farfa Group and then in Odin Teatret in Denmark as author, director and actor. In 1991 he founded the Teatro de Los Andes in Bolivia. With this group, he has created shows based on history or the classics, but deeply set in the present day: a series of exemplary works destined to tour the world. Today Cesar Brie è still in Italy as a pedagogue, and as author/actor.
