Il costume teatrale e la creazione di un sogno in-tessuto

The documentary Caterina Cornaro. A Woven Dream, by Giancarlo De Angeli and Mario Digiglio, curated by the Fondazione Arte della Seta Lisio in collaboration with the Fondazione Teatro Donizetti, was produced to accompany the Caterina Cornaro Experience exhibition (Donizetti Opera 2025). It offers a unique insight into the recreation of the costumes first seen by Neapolitan audiences at the Real Teatro di San Carlo on 12 January 1844.

The screening is followed by a guided tour of the Gianandrea Gavazzeni Experience exhibition, with a special focus on the section devoted to stage costumes.
