Marangoni's Quartet

Federico and Leonardo Marangoni are two brothers who encountered music from a very early age, choosing it as their natural language of expression and growth. They both started playing at the age of four, Federico the violin and Leonardo the cello, instruments they chose autonomously, following a spontaneous sound attraction that guided their musical journey from the very beginning. Their training began at the Scuola “Crescendo In Musica” in Pavia, where they follow the Suzuki method, a pedagogical approach that emphasises listening, imitation and emotional involvement, placing music at the centre of a person's overall development. In this context, musical practice is experienced not as a technical exercise for its own sake, but as a daily experience, natural and shared within the family. Early dedication to music allowed Federico and Leonardo to develop in an organic way their musical ear, a solid intonation ability and a particular sensitivity to sound and musical phrasing. Alongside the study of the repertoire, both have shown a natural inclination for improvisation, understood as sound play, creative exploration and daily mutual listening.
