A colazione con Gaetano: musica, latte e fantasia!
Two mornings to step into the world of Gaetano Donizetti through theatre, music and imagination.
Breakfast with Gaetano invites children and families to experience Teatro Donizetti in a playful, hands-on way: exploring its spaces, playing with music, inventing stories, and diving into first-hand experimentation. And, of course, sharing breakfast together too.
The event is designed for families with children aged 6 and up.

A Theatre to Discover and Reinvent
With Clelia Epis and Erika Natali, an interactive guided visit takes participants deep into Teatro Donizetti, uncovering its lesser-known corners and spaces normally off-limits to the public. This isn't a listen-in-silence tour — it's a journey built on observation, curiosity, questions, and playful games, offering a fresh way to look at the theatre.
Afterwards, a costume-design workshop reveals not just the history and evolution of theatrical costume, but above all how it can be transformed by the hands — and imagination — of whoever creates it. Paper, scissors, colors, and plenty of imagination are the tools for designing and bringing to life a costume of one's own: because at the theatre, you're not just here to watch — you're here to create.

A Chorus of Voices, Objects and Sounds
With soprano Mariagrazia Mercaldo, in collaboration with Fondazione Dalmine, Donizetti's music becomes a game to listen to, invent, and sing together.
Starting from Gaetano's notes, participants build a very special chorus — one made not only of voices, but of sound-objects too. With the Playtron, everyday objects turn into musical instruments, blending with voices to create a miniature orchestra all its own. Amid unexpected sounds, surprising combinations, and a few surprises along the way, every participant gets to help compose their own music.
