The Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana renews the tradition of the New Year's Concert in Bergamo in 2027, offering a festive and elegant programme inspired by the immortal music of the Strauss family, enriched as always by some precious surprises outside the repertoire. Waltzes, polkas and overtures will accompany the audience on a brilliant and enthralling musical journey, a symbol of good luck and renewal, a repertoire that combines lightness, virtuosity and great symphonic tradition.

On the podium is the young emerging conductor Giacomo Pomati, a musician with solid training and already the protagonist of important international experiences. Trained in piano and percussion at the Conservatoire de la Vallée d’Aoste, he perfected his orchestral conducting skills with Gilberto Serembe at the Italian Conducting Academy in Milan, where he obtained a Diploma d’Onore. A semi-finalist in 2024 at the International Prize for Conducting “Guido Cantelli”, Pomati has already performed in prestigious venues in Germany, Hungary, Spain and Italy, distinguishing himself as one of the most interesting personalities on the new conducting scene.
