LITTLE BEAR AND THE ICE MOUNTAIN

Two young polar bear cubs, Little Bear and Little Bear, embark on an epic journey in search of food and their way home in an Arctic region under threat from global warming. Whilst out fishing, Little Bear is separated from her brother as the ice melts. Desperate, Little Bear meets Snowman, an enigmatic trader who promises to help him, but has sinister ulterior motives: he wants to transform the icy realm into an amusement park called Iceland. Meanwhile, Little Bear is rescued by the Ice Queen, a stern yet protective figure who safeguards the mountain’s fragile balance. When Little Bear, deceived by Snowman, clashes with the Queen, hidden truths emerge: only the pure song of the two little bears can heal the Ice Mountain, gravely wounded by pollution and human greed. With the help of unlikely allies, including Quantosonofico, a clumsy but well-meaning tourist, and the faithful Walrus, the little brothers are reunited. Together, they sing to the Mountain, restoring peace and saving their fragile ecosystem. Mangianeve, defeated, is forced to repair the damage caused by his greed.
The opera concludes with a message of hope and responsibility: harmony between humans, nature and animals is possible only through respect and cooperation.
