GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER?

Guglielmo Ferro brings back to the stage the wonderful comedy that was interpreted (in the cinema) by two sacred monsters such as Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy.
The theme of mixed marriages caused a sensation in America at the end of the 1960s, but today it is more topical than ever in an increasingly multi-ethnic society.
The subject of William Arthur Rose is almost half a century old, but also thanks to Mario Scaletta's adaptation, it is a fresh and very up-to-date text.
«When they proposed this work to me, I was immediately enthusiastic – said Guglielmo Ferro – It is a brilliant text, which conveys a message with strong social connotations. Scaletta’s adaptation has also stripped out a whole part that is closely linked to the 1960s, to make it an extremely topical text, even in the crudest and most direct language. It is therefore about differences and understanding, a term, the latter, that we prefer to the more restrictive one of tolerance.
