GIANLUCA ZANELLO “Kayros Trio”
Three musicians with a strong personality brought together in a trio with an unusual configuration, intimate and at the same time energetic. Active in numerous projects on the European scene, the saxophonist Gianluca Zanello and his two partners explore the extremes of their respective sounds, offering a varied and evocative repertoire, centred on original compositions interspersed with moments of improvisation.
The trio's trio is a trio of three musicians with a strong personality.
The saxophonist is a member of several groups, including Tino Tracanna's Panorchestra, Federico Calcagno's Dolphians and Giovanni Falzone's quintet. The pianist Filippo Rinaldo is a founding member of the Milanese collective “Conserere” dedicated to research in extemporary music, while double bassist Stefano Zambon alternates sideman activity with that of composer and leader of the MutatuM sextet.
