PLOT
Aladin, accompanied by his inseparable friend Abù, is a petty thief by necessity who is madly in love with the beautiful but unattainable Princess Jasmine, daughter of the Sultan Agraba. Aladin dreams of an existence other than the humble one on the street, while Jasmine wishes to escape from her reality, tired of the boring life at court and annoyed by the law that forces her to marry only a man of high rank. When Jasmine, disguised as a commoner, flees the palace to live new and exciting adventures, she meets the charming young Aladin on the streets of Agrabah. An immediate connection is born between them, but it is abruptly interrupted by the court guards who capture Aladin and lock him up in the palace dungeon to execute him, despite the princess's desperate attempts to set him free. The sultan's vizier, the evil Jafar, thirsty for power and wealth, secretly offers Aladin, in exchange for his freedom, to go into the depths of the Cavern of Wonders to find a lamp with supernatural properties that he is desperate to have in his hands.
Aladin accepts the task and after several vicissitudes manages to find the lamp in which lives a whimsical and lively Genie with magical powers. From now on, Aladin has to face many adventures in order to defeat the perfidious Jafar and win the princess's heart.
But he is not alone in his endeavours: at his side are his inseparable monkey Abù, his new friend Genie and the phenomenal flying carpet.
