FRANCESCA REMIGI Quartet

Just a few months after her debut recording inspired by the writings of sociologists and historians (Il Labirinto Dei Topi), Francesca Remigi is already considered one of the young jazz talents to be held in high regard internationally. Relying on her natural talents and studies with Stefano Bertoli at the Conservatory of Milan as well as in Belgium and the United States, the Bergamasque drummer stands out for an expressive rigour that can be heard in compositions in which different influences converge, including modern jazz, contemporary classical music, Indian carnatic traditions, prog rock, electronic music, free jazz and mathematics.
