The protagonists of the usual appointment in collaboration with Jazz Club Bergamo are two European artists whose talent is recognized internationally. Together, the Belgian David Linx and Antonio Faraò represent a musical tandem that has roots firmly planted in the language of jazz with openings to other sound worlds.

Class of 1965, David Linx has a vocal with a broad expressive spectrum that allows him to embrace different areas, from real jazz, thanks also to studies done with Mark Murphy, to French song. With the Dutch pianist Diederik Wissels he has made a profitable partnership documented by various albums. He also collaborated with the African American poet James Baldwin, with the harmonicist Toots Thielemans, with the quartet of the pianist Ivan Paduart and with the Brussels Jazz Orchestra.

Contemporary of Linx, Antonio Faraò, who counts among his most sincere admirers a distinguished colleague of instrument like Herbie Hancock, has in the curriculum many collaborations with names that speak for themselves: Jack DeJohnette, Chris Potter, Franco Ambrosetti, Marcus Miller, Gary Bartz , Lee Konitz, Steve Grossman, Billy Cobham, Chico Freeman, Miroslav Vitous, John Abercrombie, Didier Lockwood, Christian McBride, Bireli Lagrène, Benny Golson. In 2015 and 2018 he was the only Italian artist invited to the main event of the International Jazz Day sponsored by UNESCO.
